A new official guide from Google; and FAQs in search no more.

Google: FAQ Rich Results officially killed

Date: May 7, 2026

Google will no longer support FAQ rich results. They stopped appearing in search on May 7, and Google Search Console will drop FAQ structured data reporting in June 2026, with Search Console API support ending August 2026. Apparently, it was already being ignored for most sites since 2023, so the practical impact is minimal for the majority.

No need to rush and remove them from your pages though - Google still uses it for page comprehension. It's also used by other crawlers.

Optimizing your website for generative AI features on Google Search

Google published an official guide on optimizing for generative AI, certainly wort checking it out.

TLDR; The main idea is to keep following the established traditional SEO good practices, no need to do anything special for AI.

Here are the highlights from the latest releases across DinoMatic products:

Akurai Theme - version 4.5.0
This release introduced Bonus CPT - dedicated Bonus post type, related bonuses, linked bonuses on review pages, etc. Read about this release here.

Kemoku Plugin - versions 2.4.0 & 2.4.1
These releases introduced a new Review Links Block - a list block for displaying review page links. It includes just the logo, the name and a small rating section. There's also a "[review_links]" shortcode.

Nonaki Plugin - version 2.0.2
Link Checker Controls - 2 new settings to control the automated link checker - enable or disable daily checks, and separately opt in to email notifications when broken links are found.

tablrr

I have been working on tablrr API recently - now there's a whole set of endpoints to manage probably everything programmatically - tablrr API docs. I have also added 2 new listing layouts - Table #4 and Grid #4 - check them out on tablrr demo page.

Spinoko 3 - a major evolution is on the way. I don't have an exact date yet, but it's not too far.
